At FCC Rochester Our Outreach Is For All

What is Mission Outreach? Is it helping others? Or is it expressing God’s Grace and Beauty through your talents and passions? Is it everyday activities like cleaning, coaching, or teaching? Is the answer all of the above or none of the above? How do you know when you are serving in a Ministerial Capacity? Are you one of those people who believe that Ministry is for Leaders with titles like Reverend, Pastor or Bishop?

Or perhaps you believe as we do; that Ministry is for anyone who believes that they are called by God to serve others and that Ministry is whatever, whenever and wherever you are called.

What are you called to be?

At FCC we enjoy the blessings afforded by having many who are aware of their special gifts and talents and who are open (committed) to sharing those with the world. It might surprise you to find professionals, like entrepreneurs or business executives or doctors serving in capacities such as photography or landscaping or sound production; or leading in other ways completely outside of their (paid) professions and yet serving by doing what they love to do; where their heart lies.

If you see something that makes your heart “sing” that is wonderful and please note that you are welcome to come and share freely in whatever capacity is natural and satisfying to you. If you are called to serve in a capacity not listed, have you thought of starting a new ministry.
